Who is the best poker online player in the world? If you ask any pro, I think they’ll tell you no one. And it’s quite a simple answer as to why. No one can be playing at the top of their poker online game all the time. Sure there are several pros that consistently win, but they don’t always win. The best would always win by principle, and no one out there does that. To take the point further, there are so many different forms of online poker that some people prefer one over the other and are better at it than they are at the other forms. So for a player to be the best in the world he would have to be able to beat online poker at any level consistently. Beat Multi table tournaments consistently. Beat SnGs consistently. And be able to to it with all the different games from Razz, to Badugi, to PL Omaha to NL Hold ‘Em. The truth is such a player just doesn’t exist. But there are several good players who can consistently beat the worse players so it comes down to a better than or worse than comparison. The superlative best doesn’t enter the equation at all, since no one is perfect, no one can be the absolute best.
